Reccomendation board

Recently ive come to a dead end in my musical taste. Ive run through all the new (2005-2010) music i can stand, and I cant seem to find much old stuff. Can anyone recommend some good oldies (or music from any given time period really) for me? Il take anything you recommend , listen to it, rate it and describe my feelings on the band/album/songs and who knows, maybe Il find something interesting.

Late 60s / early 70s. I don't know your musical taste well enough, but this is a pretty good cross-section of most of the schtuff you could want. Try going through the iTunes essentials first, it's a good way to start or at least find artists you liek.
