Old shows freaking rocked!!!! I can remember waking up every Saturday morning , watching 3 hours of Toonami and having my jaw on the ground from its insane awesomeness!!!! ............
Cancellation Of Toonami (from Wikipedia )
On Saturday September 20, 2008 [5], Cartoon Network ended Toonami. Employees who worked on the block moved to other parts of the channel. Anime was mostly handled by Adult Swim, and a new block "CN Real" replaced Toonami on Saturday nights afterward. Toonami Jetstream remained with the Toonami name until January 30, 2009. At the end of Toonami's final airing, the host, voiced by Steven Blum, ended the block with a brief, final monologue: [6] “ Well, this is the end, beautiful friends. After more than 11 years, this is Toonami's final broadcast. It's been a lot of fun, and we'd like to thank each and every one of you who made this journey with us. Toonami wouldn't have been anything without you. Hopefully we've left you with some good memories. So, until we meet again, stay gold. Bang.

I'm trying to remember individual shows they had on Toonami... all I can think of was Samurai Jack and Dragonball Z...

They had Megas XLR , Cowboy bebop , Teen Titans and some other sweet stuff ...hell they even had a "A Month of Miyazaki " where they aired a couple of Hayao Miyazakis films .....

Well, let me just start off saying that Toonami isnt technically back. Recently I found Toonami Rebirth , a Stream dedicated to playing old Toonami shows and movies (Megas XLR , Pokemon (the original ) Outlaw Star....I could go on) . Theyve got a great and pretty diverse lineup , and they keep it all to the spirit of the original Toonami. Il have to warn you that they run on a really strange schedule though.
